Missing 15-year-old girl found dead at her high school football stadium

Adriana Davidson, a 15-year-old girl, went missing and was found dead three days later.

Her family reported her missing on Saturday, after last seeing or hearing from her on Friday morning.

The K-9 unit found her body near the high school stadium where she was a student.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office expressed condolences to Adriana's friends and family.

Foul play is not suspected in Adriana's death and there is no active threat to the community.

Police are investigating events around her death and an autopsy is being conducted to determine the cause.

Adriana's brother, Anthony Lopez, said she received an alarming text from a friend.

The Ann Arbor Public Schools Superintendent, Jeanice Swift, said the district was deeply saddened by Adriana's death.

Grief support teams and counselors were sent to campuses across the school district.

Swift wrote a letter offering condolences to Adriana's family, friends, teachers, and those who knew and loved her.
